We were heading to the animal shelter to drop Ben off at Jr. Animal Club, which starts at 6:00 but really starts at 6:15 or something because the kids bring their dinners and spend the first 15 minutes eating and chatting as others trickle in.
Ben looks at his watch and groans: It's 6:03!
Ali: That's OK, 6:03 is a good time for it to be.
Ben: But it starts at 6:00, doesn't it?
Ali: Yes, but--
Evan: But our car goes faster than time, right Mom?
